Our Drivers
When you’re driving for Versant UK, you are an important part of our team. This is why we invest time with every driver to gain a clear picture of the work they can do and want to do.
Our interview process is time well spent, completing all the paperwork as easily as possible, providing us with time to confirm your requirements and expectations. During this time the information gathered will ensure your skills are matched to the jobs that best suit you. Where clients require you to be assessed and site inducted, we always pay you for this time, and will make sure you are fully prepared for what is expected of you during this process.
Our driver handbook (issued to each driver upon registration) details the drivers hours rules and regulations and the highway code which will not only help you prepare for your assessment but will also act as a reference guide for any regulations you are unsure of when working for Versant.
Our experienced Team can also offer guidance on:
- Vocational Training (courses regularly available)
- Retraining and upgrading of licences
- Tacho Infringements
- Fuel Efficient driving
- Understanding Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
